Speedy 2 Hour Whale Watching Express Boat Tour with Transfer from Reykjavik

The Whale Watching Express tours are operated during the summer months from June 15th-September 30th. There are two types of boats used for the Express tours (Lilja and Rósin). Both boats have high cruising speeds, which allows you to sail out to the feeding grounds in no time. This lets you spend the same amount of time in the whale watching area as the longer Classic tours, while saving you roughly 1 hour in travel time going out and back.

You depart from Reykjavik‘s Old Harbour (near the city center) for your whale watching adventure. Your expert guide will help you to spot whales and tell you all about the wildlife and surrounding area. The four most common species we see are minke whales, humpback whales, white-beaked dolphins and harbour porpoises. You can also expect to see a variety of bird life out at sea. Feel free to ask your guide questions throughout the tour – they are marine biologists and full of knowledge!

Warm overalls are provided for every passenger, and both boats have restrooms, indoor and outdoor seating areas and a snack bar on board for your convenience. Grab a pair of warm overalls and enjoy the breathtaking scenery as we sail out to Faxaflói Bay!
