Couldn’t see the northern light on the first night, able to arrange a free retry next night. Second night only see very little, but they offered another free retry. But I’m too tired already, so didn’t go on the third night. Tour guide, Gabriela, was great. She tried very hard looking for the northern lights but weather was not good. Would join their tour again if I visit Iceland in the future
We did get to see the northern lights a bit, going to 3-4 locations to chase the lights. The guides used apps to find spots to try, it wasn’t a great night for visibility so they did the best they could. None of the locations seemed to need minibus transport though, could have also been accessed by large buses (much cheaper tour). And, the tour ended 1.5 hours early with no explanation - this is most of the reason for the lower review score, we have gone to more locations as the night became darker but didn’t.
