Our guide was wonderful. We booked the first ride of the morning on a Sunday and it was just my son and myself with the guide. We got the full experience of brushing our horse saddling them. Then out for a 2 hour ride. No cars , no crowds just us the horses and of course sheep. It was very peaceful. The tour ended with a delicious hearty lamb stew. Yum. Definitely recommend this tour.

I am so glad we booked this experience! We were thinking of trying horseback riding from the start but it was so so worth it to wait for this one. Our tour guide, Anna, was so wonderful to meet and talk with! She was very kind and friendly. The horses were so cute and gentle too we were able to spend time with them before and after. We also got lucky to be the only ones on the tour! Beautiful location, stunning horses, friendly tour guide - what more could we want? Oh bonus is we got to try to signature Icelandic horse tolt which was so cool!
