Description
Summary
Description
Take the plunge with this PADI Dry Suit Scuba Diver course in Iceland to discover the true freedom of underwater exploration, including one in-pool session and two open-water dives.
With its glittering glacial water and stunning submerged caverns, Iceland is one of the most beautiful places on Planet Earth to earn your PADI Dry Suit Diver qualification. This course is the perfect opportunity for experienced divers looking to expand into cold-water scuba, or for new underwater adventurers eager for an exciting challenge during their trip.
Scuba Diving in cold water requires an entirely different set of skills to diving in warm, tropical waters. Becoming a certified dry suit diver means you will learn new ways to control your buoyancy, such as releasing excess air from your feet or adding air through a chest valve.
Professional and experience Scuba Diving Instructors will guide you through each step, both in theory and practise, to help you become a certified and confident PADI Dry Suit Diver. Throughout the experience, they will ensure you have a thorough knowledge of dry suit diving with an emphasis on safety and fun.
Please keep in mind that this is a physically demanding activity; your two open-water dives will provide ample practice in the cold Icelandic waters, making you better prepared for any future adventures. Beforehand, your instructor will spend a morning with you in the pool, completing your confined water session.
Your two open water dives in the ocean will reveal the hidden beauty that lies beneath Iceland’s coastal waters, as well as instilling in you a level of confidence you could never have believed possible. Please note that dive sites are determined on the day of the course and depend on weather and sea conditions.
Don’t miss your opportunity to earn an essential scuba diving qualification with this PADI Dry Suit Diver Course in Iceland. Check availability by choosing a date.
