Family-Friendly 1-Hour e-Bike Tour of Husavik Mountain

Next, you’ll proceed to the Husavik lighthouse beside the GeoSea Baths. The Husavik lighthouse stands out from the rest of the area’s features because of its bright yellow color. It is also 164 feet tall, easily towering over Skjalfandi bay.

You’ll then return to the biking trails and head into the hills of Husavik mountain toward the direction of the beautiful Lake Botnsvatn. The lake features calm waters complemented by surrounding vistas. It’s also home to numerous walking trails, moss-covered rocks, and vibrant greenery. 

Interestingly, if you visit the Lake Botnsvatn area between late August and September, you’ll see blueberries and mushrooms everywhere. You’ll also visit a secret beach, offering more photo opportunities.

After spending time at the lake, you’ll pedal along a new mountain bike track. This new route leads to a botanical garden where you can relax in the middle of beautiful blooming flowers.

To end the tour, you’ll ride your e-bike to the harbor and stop at Restaurant Gamli Baukur for a free drink. As you enjoy your refreshing beverage, you can reflect on the attractions you visited and relive shared moments with your family.
