Reykjavik E-Bike Tour of Nautholsvik Beach, Grotta Lighthouse & Oskjuhlid Hill

Ride an e-bike along the Reykjavik coastline, through the city center, and into the woods of Oskjuhlid Hill on this guided tour that starts and ends at Nautholsvik Geothermal Beach.

You start at Nautholsvik Geothermal Beach, with golden sand, a warm ocean cove, and views of distant mountains. After putting on your helmet, you ride west along Aegisida Coastal Path, one of the most peaceful coastal paths in Reykjavik, past homes, seabirds, and fishing boats in the bay.

Next, you reach Grotta Lighthouse on the Seltjarnarnes Peninsula, an area of black sand with panoramic views of Faxafloi Bay, Mount Esja, and the North Atlantic. You may see seals and seabirds here.

Then you ride back toward the lively city center, past colorful houses, cafes, and street art.

From there, you climb gently into Oskjuhlid Hill, a green hill topped by the Perlan dome, with quiet wooded trails, hidden paths, and World War II bunkers.

The loop ends back at Nautholsvik Geothermal Beach, where you can relax by the warm shore or take a quick dip.
