Perfect afternoon outing from Reykjavik! The guides were both friendly and professional, no problem for beginners. There was interesting terrain to ride through as well, despite being so close to the city.

Super Ausritt durch Lava-Felder. Es hat alles gepasst. Tolle Guides, tolle Pferde und sagenhafte Natur. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Our 11 day trip to Iceland was fabulous even though it rained every day except for 2 days. We travelled the Ring Road and did some other side trips as well. A few thoughts: Rent a car. Reserve must do activities at least 6 months in advance. Reserve lodging a year in advance. No cash needed. A credit card will cover it all. Figure $12/ gal for gas or $3.20/liter. You can go cheaper but figure $100 a day for meals. Bring warm clothes and bulletproof rain gear. A self planned tour is cheaper than an escorted tour and more versatile. Tons of planning tips on YouTube and through wonderful resources like Guide to Iceland. Enjoy the food! Never had a bad meal. Finally, try the fermented shark. It’s better than led to believe!
