Everything I Hoped For and More Thanks to Stefan! I’ve been trying to do tours like this whenever I travel for the past couple of years, but this was my first time doing one outside of the States and it was so worth it. I brought my buddy along (he’s always been skeptical when I rave about these kinds of tours) and his son, and by the end, they were both completely won over. Before the trip, I had been hyping up his son about elves and trolls, but for some reason, we hadn’t come across much of anything elf-related until we met Stefan! His knowledge of Icelandic history, folklore, and even local customs was amazing. And the way he brought it all to life was just brilliant. I’ve done about a dozen tours now, and I can confidently say this one was my favorite. It’s the only time I’ve walked away feeling an actual warmth and joy in my heart thanks to Stefan’s incredible storytelling and the sincerity of his parting words.
