If driving from Reykjavik, drive along Route 1 and follow the Ring Road until you turn left onto Road Nr. 249. You will pass Seljalandsfoss waterfall, and Gljufursarfoss waterfall is signposted from here.
There is a small parking lot here, so you can leave your car and walk down a path beside the river to the cascade.
