Some days in Iceland feel almost too perfect to be real. The sun is warm, the sky is clear, the sea is calm, and there isn’t a breath of wind. These are the days you remember, especially because they are so rare. That is exactly how our day on Viðey began. On a whim, we decided to take the ferry from Reykjavík to this small island just a few minutes from the city. We didn’t really have a plan.
