I am Ana and I live in Reykjavík, Iceland. I am from Portugal but moved to Iceland 17 years ago! I work for Lyfja, the biggest pharmacy chain in Iceland and on my free time I love to travel around Iceland.

Even after 17 years of living in this beautiful country I am still in awe with its beauty and i love to explore and get to know new places. I love a good road trip!

🇬🇧 Exploring ice caves and walking on top of glaciers is something I never get tired of doing and that's why I returned in March to the same places I was in early January but this time I joined Ice Guide. Ice Guide is a small family business located in the town of Höfn in South East Iceland. This time I stayed at a guesthouse in Höfn because I wanted to explore the area a bit and visit places that I hadn't been to for many years. I Explored an Ice Cave!

I Explored a ice cave! Last friday i took the day off and drove to Vík, a small village in South Iceland located by the famous black sand beach Reynisfjara, where my tour would be. The drive to Vík from Reykjavík is around 2 hours 30 minutes in good road conditions. The tour was booked for 2pm but I left Reykjavík pretty early because the plan was to stop by the famous Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls to take some photos.
