Review of 10-Day Self-Drive Tour of the Complete Ring Road of Iceland with Top Attractions & Snaefellsnes

It was very well organized. The Iceland itself is amazing, of course. Self-driving tour is definitely worth it, but more than 10 days can be better (for some). I also advise to book early, because otherwise accommodation can be further apart than it is originally conceived. The Guide to Iceland staff was very helpful, and they answered all my questions in a timely manner (even the strange ones). Definitely recommend. Maybe, a little offtopic, but I recommend to buy additional insurance for gravel protection (in the car rental). Even on the ring road there are roadwork stretches with gravel.

Amazing time in Iceland! Can't believe the natural beauty. So grateful to have the opportunity to see some of these sights. The Guide to Iceland app was instrumental in keeping it all straight as we traveled around the ring road. I would highly recommend this trip and Guide to Iceland to anyone considering the trip. The food was better than expected. The accommodations were more than adequate and the locals were all so nice.

Review of Customizable 12-Day Self-Drive Ring Road Tour

L’organizzazione del viaggio da parte di Guide to Iceland è stata perfetta, abbiamo trascorso 12 giorni meravigliosi sulla Ring Road, vedendo tutto ciò che valeva la pena di vedere, tranne che l’Islanda centrale, per nostra scelta Tutte le soluzioni di alloggio proposte (hotel, appartamenti) erano eccellenti e pulite. In quelle che lo consentivano abbiamo cenato, una delle cene migliori è stata al Fosshotel Eastfjords, ma anche alla Lilja Guesthouse, Hofn e Hótel Kría a Vik. Ad Akureyri consigliamo il ristorante Greifinn, a Reykjavik il Kröst. Tutta la famiglia (due genitori e due figli) è stata entusiasta della avventura: fra le cose più belle che abbiamo visto c’è stata sicuramente la Laguna Glaciale di Jökulsárlón ed il Circolo d’Oro, ma molte sono state le cose notevoli, anche nelle regioni lontane dalla capitale. È un viaggio che consigliamo a tutti, famiglie, coppie, single. Ne vale veramente la pena.
