We loved our Katla Ice Cave Tour. Davis was a great tour guide, providing a lot of information on our ride there and answering all of our questions. We were in a small group of 6 which was really nice. My husband was able to crawl into a crevasse of the cave so he was thrilled.
Short walk and a little climb from the parking to ice cave. The cave easily accessible and is clear at one glance. Short time for photo and stay in the cave but is fine as the cave is not big, the experience is great! For information the whole tour last for actually 2.5 hours.

A fun hike! An arctic fox jumped out in front of our van and our driver was able to slow down so we got to see it running along side us on our way to the glacier. The hike was easy/average difficulty for someone who is a weekend hiker and was a once in a lifetime experience to walk inside of the glacier. We went late in the season so the glacier had receded a bit and the cave was small but it was still a great adventure!
