Our guide, Cora was very cheerful and passionate! She shared a lot of information about Iceland, and her energetic nature really helped to liven up the tour. Despite the long journey, we had a great time from start to finish. We were taken to various must-see sights within a limited schedule before sunset. The series of stunning, mystical scenery felt like something out of a movie, and it was a truly moving experience. At the Saxhóll crater ruins, we climbed the stairs to the top of the mountain. It was very windy and there were no handrails on the stairs, so windproof clothing and non-slip shoes are essential. Whether or not you can see seals on Ituri Tunga Island seems to depend on the season and the timing. We had almost given up on seeing any seals, but then a cute seal popped its head out of the water, and we were all thrilled. (But the beach itself was really beautiful!) Thank you!L so much!

Highly recommended! The tour was great, with a super smooth and well-planned schedule. Our tour guide introduced a lot of Icelandic folklore and shared interesting insights along the way while driving, which made the journey even more enjoyable. The hotel was cute, and its location was perfect for hunting the northern lights. Unfortunately, the night we stayed, the sky was covered by clouds, so we didn’t get to see them but it was still a nice and cozy place to stay. The glacier hiking and ice caving were definitely the highlights of this tour. Our guide, Ana from Portugal, was very professional and sweet, and she took great care of us while leading us through the glacier and ice cave. Overall, we really enjoyed our trip!

Cora was our driver - she was energetic and knowledgable. She provided commentary a lot of the way there that was appreciated! We had 30 mins at the first waterfall, and 40 mins at the second. It is quick but you're still able to take it in. We sped up the stairs at the second waterfall and there are a lot of them. The beach is where you can do lunch so you have more time. She spoke very highly of the soups there and listen to that recommendation! I am vegetarian so I had the turnip soup (it's vegan friendly) and it was soo DELICIOUS! My husband had the lamb soup and he loved that too! I chose this glacier hike because I thought intermediate would be a good pace for us but we definitely could have done more. It was an absolutely beautifully mesmerizing hike. There were a lot of stops for photo ops which was nice but more than was needed - it took away from the "hiking" experience I was expecting out of this. I would describe it more as beginner with the challenge of using crampons. Our guide was good with the varying capabilities of the people in our group though.
