Review of Wild Campers

I booked travel to Iceland and didn't know if I could go until super last minute. I had been before so I had some rough ideas about what I wanted to do. The first and biggest cost-related question I had to figure out was "do I rent a campervan or rent a normal car + tent camp or airbnb"... I did loads of Googling and comparing and ended up finding literally the best deal possible via Wild Campers booked through Guide to Iceland. I even checked the price for the same vehicle rented on the same date range directly through Wild Campers but it was cheaper through Guide to Iceland and included a 4G (which ended up being 5G, yay!) Wi-Fi hotspot. Guide to Iceland customer support is incredible. Kierza, Kimberly, Mikko and Denver were all equally super attentive, responsive, thorough, kind, helpful, understanding, friendly and each support agent made me feel like solving my issues was their number one priority. They waited on hold for me to help me avoid costly international call fees. They made numerous calls and sent numerous emails on my behalf to help me get connected with Wild Campers when I screwed up my reservation and airport shuttle pickup timing because of the huge time difference between my home State and Iceland....and also when I ended up having mechanical issues with my campervan in the middle of my trip. They helped coordinate with Wild Campers to getting a replacement campervan to me on the literal opposite side of Iceland, more than 10 hours away in the midst of Iceland's biggest national holiday. They truly saved my scattered, last-minute trip and helped me have an amazing, memorable experience. Highly recommend both Guide to Iceland AND Wild Campers for the best cost-to-value and great customer server experience for your future trip to Iceland.
