Highly recommended! Pre-trip communication was good and the pickup clear and easy. The guide Jon was informative and sweet, and never slipped into the kind of borderline-offensive humor guides sometimes are prone to. The stops on the route were well-timed and fun, the bakery an especially excellent addition. The hike never went to the white part of the glacier, but through the gray glacier fringe to the cave. FYI all those photos of super blue caves aren't of these southern caves, they're of the northern Iceland caves that take five hours of hiking to reach; the southern caves are smaller and mostly gray with just a little blue but reachable with only 20 minutes' hike, much more doable and very enjoyable and beautiful. I've done a white-part glacier hike before and both were amazing, I can't say whether to recommend cave or glacier surface more, but the cave was absolutely worth taking a special trip for! Hotel was good and communications smooth.
