Our Helicopter trip was a great way to start of travel to Iceland. unfortunately due to high winds we had to alter our trip from waterfalls and valleys to volcanos. It was still very interesting and our pilot was very enthusiastic.

Es war eine herauragende Exkursion, der sehr erfahrene und professionelle Pilot hat uns die spektakuläre Vulkanlandschaft perfekt nahe gebracht, sogar eine Zwischenlandung direkt am noch frischen Lavafeld war wegen des stabilen Wetters möglich! Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis auf Island!! 5 Sterne definitiv!!

The description of this tour indicated a glacier landing and recommended warm clothing. We purchased warm outerwear for this tour but we never landed on a glacier we landed in a geothermal files that was very muddy and we were attacked by flying insects. We also had to share our tour with a couple who had accidentally booked a tour for the wrong day and a different tour. (I didn't have a problem with that part) that couple got the best views and pictures because they got to sit in the front. I booked this specifically for Glymur waterfall and I could manage to get a picture of it with out parts of the helicopter interior in the shots. ( most of my pics and videos have the helicopter interior in them

This was an epic trip! Our pilot was fantastic! He was knowledgeable of the area and beyond plus super friendly. He provided a safe and outstanding tour of the peninsula. Landing in the older lava field was an amazing experience. This was one of our groups favorite adventures while we were in Iceland!
