Information about Hafravatn

Hafravatn is a small and charming lake just outside the capital limits, with the town Mosfellsbaer on its northern side. 

The lake is located 76 m above sea level and is 28 m deep. The river Seljadalsa falls into it from the east and its discharge is Ulfarsfellsa river. There is salmon in the lake, plenty of small lake char and sometimes the brown trout.
