Stunning views and incredible experience, breathtaking, no words can describe the beautiful of Silfra

Be prepared for a long trip out to the glacier from Reykjavik. However, Arctic Adventures makes it interesting thanks to Kamille who shared information about the areas we passed through on the Silver Circle route. The ice explorer driving over the glacier in between bamboo stakes and over crevasses made for an exciting beginning. Once inside the glacier Maddie was helpful as we geared up and had so much knowledge (and the cutest laugh). Amazing experience. On the way back we stopped at an Icelandic horse farm and were able to pet and feed these horses as we learned about the special breed. The countryside is beautiful.

Booked a super Jeep tour. Got a minibus tour, but it was okey because the mini bus tour had a visit to a horse farm too. Simon was a wonderful guide. The tour was great. The ice tunnel had more im it to see before; a chapel among other, and also it had a women singing with an angel voice before. Maybe because of all the bad weather lately, and summer, it was lots of water in it and quite slippery. They had crampons we could borrow, do it went well. Still stunning, but more spectacular some years ago. I've done the tour twice before. I don't believe I will do it a fourth time.
