Voyage été de 8 jours | Les meilleurs lieux d'Islande

My experience in Summer 8-Day Best Attraction Tour Package was excellent! Besides the typical activities such as Blue Lagoon hot bath, Golden Circle, Black Sand Beach, Glacier Lagoon, Myvatn Lake hot bath and sight seeings, we also took Glacier Hiking, Into the Volcano and Ice Tunnel walk. They were really a life time experience. Before I booked the trip I did a lot of studies about Iceland and their attractions. However, the real experience was far beyond my expectations! The glacier hike was a real challenge for me. It was a rainy day, windy and cold. Even with all the gears we had, it was not an effortless activity. It made me appreciate God's enormous creation and how tiny we are.It also gave me new perspective of how hard it was for the early settlers. The tour guide Christian was great! He is not only experienced, knowledgeable but also caring and considerate. It was a challenging activity but I enjoyed a lot. I would recommend to anyone who is still in good health to take this adventure. However, this is not for small children. We also took and tour Into the Volcano that erupted 4500 years ago and is inactive. The volcano was awesome and pretty. The technology to get down the bottom of the volcano was interesting, the hiking from the base camp was worthwhile, we hiked across the N.America and Euroasia tectonic plates on snow and rocks. Once got to the entrance area, a delicious hot soup/drink was waiting for us. The tour Operator TripAdvisor crew were fantastic. Too bad I did not ask their names. I would highly recommend this tour. The ice tunnel/cave tour is worthwhile too. The tunnel will disappear in 50-60 years. It is better now than later to visit. Overall,I enjoy this oncein a life time tour very much. I appreciate the agents Emla and Olafur's help in making my final decision on what activity and tours to take. Lily Tu

Voyage été 6 jours vers le Sud de l'Islande et Snaefellsnes

We had an awesome time in Iceland thanks to the coordination of tours and accommodation provided by Guide to Iceland. The Troll Expedition Golden Circle tour guided by Hugi was phenomenal; as was the 2 day Southern Coast tour guided by Lisa. The Snaefellsnes Peninsula tour on April 25, 2018 was led by a guide who did not share much information nor stop at all of the places described in the itinerary. Of course the Blue Lagoon was amazing, and Reykjavík was a delightful city to explore. I would highly recommend this adventure to anyone!

Autotour de 5 jours | Merveilles de l'ouest de l'Islande

Day 2 driving from Reykjavik to Stykissholmur was interesting as the snow conditions were quite poor and as tourists this was something we were not used to - but we got through it! The Northern Peninsula scenery was stunning, the visit to the Lava Cave memorable, the blue lagoon relaxing , the hotels and restaurants we used were very good and Reykjavik was very interesting. Make use of the weather apps and have a plan for what you want to do. We did and it helped enormously.

Voyage organisé été de 5 jours à la découverte du Sud de l'Islande

We definitely had a great experience: Iceland is a wonder to see, nothing can compare with its breathtaking landscapes and pristine nature. This tour takes you to the most renowned places, such as the golden circle, the southern part with the coast and glaciers, and of course the blue lagoon (to end the trip with a nice relaxing bath). I would definitely like to bring my family here next time.

Such a great trip! I took the trip from 8/31 to 9/4, and our guides to golden circle and south coast are both pretty good, especially Kristjan Logason, who is friendly, professional, and made the south coast trip a lot of fun! I appreciate the contact is easy and responsive, and love the pick-up and drop-off from/to the airport. The hotel selected for me was pretty decent (Hotel Klettur), and the trip was smooth and free of hazard. I will book again through this site if I go to Iceland again (which I think I will).

Our anniversary celebration trip and first time to Iceland was a blast! We picked this 5-day program and stayed 3 more days in a different hotel CenterHotel Arnahvoll near Harpa, added also the Into the Volcano and Best Value Landmannalaugar day tours. Through these tours, we had a great experience to explore with enough flexibility southern part of the country in late August. The agent at Guide to Iceland, Melkorka Edda, did a great job in helping us adjust some schedules, such as arranging the Blue Lagoon visit right off our early arrival in day one. We did not know ahead of time this 5-day program was actually patched together with a few independent tours operated by different companies, but everything was arranged smoothly with god efficiency and communications. We look forward to our next trip for the Northern part of the country and Ice Caves!

Voyage été 6 jours vers le Sud de l'Islande et Snaefellsnes

Great attractions included, all guides are locals and very friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone on our tour group wanted to add on the sailing at the glacier lagoon, and it would have been preferred if this could have been booked in advance, rather than when we arrived.

Iceland Summer Vacation | 4 Days, 3 Nights

We had an amazing trip with guide to Iceland! They made everything easy and made it able to enjoy our trip and not have to worry about anything. The four days three nights was perfect for our trip! We went to the blue lagoon, golden circle and tour of the southern coast. But what made our trip even better was that we added two excursions. We added glacier hiking and snowmobiling which were both so much fun! I would highly recommend and book through them again

Voyage été de 8 jours | Les meilleurs lieux d'Islande

Summer 2017: -Absolutely one of the best trips ever! Guide to Iceland made it very easy to plan this trip and once I was there everything was set up and ready to go. The hotels were clean and centrally located to everything. The bus pick up was easy, every driver knew my name and called me and got me to where I needed to be on time. Each planned excursion was exciting and well planned out by the tour guides. -The top highlights of my solo trip include: 1. Snowmobiling on a glacier with Mountaineers of Iceland - "a must do" 2. Hiking on a glacier 3. Going inside a volcano (note: there is about a forty-five walk through a lava field just to get to the volcano from the parking lot, which is great when it is nice outside). 4. Hiking the rim of another volcano to see the colorful oozing looking rocks 5. The waterfalls 6. The boiling geysers 7. The tiny, quiet city of Reykjavík 8. ATV tour (I booked that at my hotel, it was a lot of fun.) 9. My fun tour guides 10. All the people from around the world I met traveling through Iceland 11. The locals who make it fun and like talking to tourists (I just sat in the park and spoke with a few on a nice day). 12. The cool black volcanic beaches 13. The glacier lagoon (Golden Circle Tour) 14. Blue lagoon (wow). It is not cheap, but for good reason. You get what you pay for and it like nothing you have ever seen before on this planet (note: I got a crazy sunburn from the lagoon, so be careful in summer). 15. Hiking in the national parks and seeing the divide between Europe and North America. 16. Seeing where Game of Thrones and J.B. film the show/video. 17. Great pick up and drop off right from my hotel, or just down the street. 18. If you do have leftover time in the city, take a walk to a geothermal city pool. It is a good way to spend a few hours, and it is not expensive. 19. Eight days was the perfect amount of time to see the highlights of Iceland. --Suggestion/observations: 1. Save money on food by going to the "Bonus" grocery store. Also, take a short walk out of the highly touristy areas, the farther you walk, the lower the prices. The complimentary hotel breakfasts are great, so eat up each morning. 2. Reykjavík won't take more than one day to explore so plan an excursion for each day. Most excursions end around 6 pm so you will have plenty of time to see the city. 3. Reykjavík is flat and very walkable. You won't need to hire a cab (or drive a rental) to get around. There are no highways to walk across in the country and being a pedestrian is the way to safely go. 4. Great water resistant shoes are highly recommended for every excursion. You don't need winter jackets or snow pants in the summer. Just a warm sweater and a warm rain jacket will suffice. 5. Alcohol is expensive, so don't plan to spend too much time at the bar. 6. It is fun to go with a group of friends, but you can also safely do this trip solo without any problem. You meet nice people, of many different ages, from around the world each day and the tour guides love talking with everyone.

Amazing experience! At first we were thinking about renting a car and exploring Iceland on our own, yet eventually decided to book a guided tour with Guide to Iceland. And this was the best decision ever! Our travel agent David Kristjansson made sure that we have the best itinerary possible. All accommodations were modern and included fresh and tasty breakfast choices. As to tours- they were booked with "Trolls" and "NiceTravel" companies. The first excursion- Golden circle -was guided by an Icelander-Fannar- very nice and funny young man who filled our excursion with numerous peculiar facts and stories. We made extra stops that were not on the plan and tasted delicious handmade ice cream! The South Coast adventure was led by a wonderful couple - Lucia and David. They made us feel special and answered all questions we could possibly have about waterfalls, glaciers and volcanoes. They made sure that we were all safe when hiking on the glacier and tirelessly assisted in taking hundreds of pictures. We also stopped at local restaurants to taste some incredible Icelandic food like lamb soup, arctic char, baked cod. Overall I can confidently recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get the best taste of Icelandic nature, history and culture in less than a week! You will not regret!)
