Vlad, our guide for the two days, was AMAZING. Very kind and organized, gave valuable information, very personable and A TERRIFIC DRIVER - we had bad road conditions (ice, snow, poor visibility at times) on the drive from Reykjavik to Selfoss, and Vlad drove very carefully and slowly. We passed 7 cars and buses that had slid off the road. Vlad's slow and steady driving got us there safely! We SO appreciated that. The rest of the tour, really because of Vlad, was amazing. The blue ice, including an unexpected stop not on the agenda, amazing and impressed. Everything was well timed, Vlad was very clear with instructions, and we loved how we were able to go off and do our own sightseeing as a couple, and not have to stick together outside of the bus. The only exception was with a different guide in the ice caves, which we understood of course for safety reasons. Vlad put enormous emphasis on our safety and well being at all times. Very impressed by that. We would recommend this tour, and Vlad, to anyone!
