Brixton is a trendy restaurant on Tryggvagata Street in downtown Reykjavik, known for its fun selection of small slider-style burgers, great drinks, and lively atmosphere. It’s a go-to spot for both locals and travelers looking to enjoy delicious food in a relaxed setting.

The menu at Brixton features eight distinct sliders, from classic cheeseburgers to smoked pork belly and crispy fried chicken, all served on sweet potato buns from the renowned Sandholt bakery.

Each slider is about half the size of a regular burger, making it easy to try multiple flavors in one sitting. Most diners order two or three sliders each, often pairing them with crispy fries and house-made dipping sauces.

Brixton isn’t just about great food—it’s also a social hotspot with a lively bar scene. Guests can enjoy Icelandic craft beers, cocktails, and wines while soaking in the upbeat atmosphere. 

On Fridays and Saturdays, DJs play from 8:00 PM, and happy hour runs until 10:30 PM. With the kitchen open until 10:00 PM and doors closing at 10:30 PM, it’s a great place to kick off the weekend!
