It also has several fantastic attractions, positioned by Lake Lagarfljot and just a five-minute drive south of the Vok Baths.
In around 30 minutes, you will be able to reach the spectacular fjords of Seydisfjordur and Reydafjordur. From the latter, you can set out on one of the country’s most spectacular coastal drives. In an hour, you can reach even more magnificent destinations such as the bay of Borgardfjordur Eystri, and in an hour and a half, you can get to Snaefell, the tallest freestanding mountain in Iceland.
Facilities and Amenities
Guests staying at TeHusid Hostel can elect to either book private rooms, which accommodate between two and six, or beds in one of the dormitories, which can accommodate between six and twelve. Women will find female-only dorms if they would rather. The mattresses are very comfortable, and the guesthouse will provide you with all linens and towels. The clean, spacious bathrooms and the fully-furnished kitchen are communal.
