It has two single beds in one room, a double bed in the other, and a single sleeping sofa. A crib is available on request for infants, and bed linen is provided. In the bathroom is a toilet, shower, sink and mirror, and towels are provided.

In the living area is a comfortable sofa from where you can see the natural landscapes out the window. The kitchen is well-equipped for self catering, with a microwave, stove, oven, toaster, coffee machine and kettle. A fridge is available to store your groceries or food supplies.

Vestri Pétursey lies 20 kilometres West of Vík at the foot of the Pétursey mountains after which it was named.

Hiking and horse riding are the most common activities here, and you'll find it extremely simple to hire a horse from one of the neighbouring farms. The beach is 2.5 kilometres away and there are some lovely hiking trails in between. 14 kilometres away lies the Folk museum at Skógar, and the Eyjafjallajökull glacier volcano that erupted in 2010 is nearby.
