Join this tour to head straight to all the most interesting sites of south-west Iceland, including the Golden Circle and the Blue Lagoon, without any inconveniences. You'll have plenty of time to explore the natural wonders you encounter.
There will be no switching of buses, no early arrivals and no detours into Reykjavík between attractions. The only break you will have from the greatest sites of Iceland will be a pleasant lunch stop.
The tour starts with a Reykjavík pickup, after which you will be whisked around the Golden Circle, first stopping at Þingvellir National Park, where you can walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. While the geology is unbelievable, this site also has historic importance, as it was where the country founded its current parliament over a millennium ago.
The tour then continues onwards to Geysir geothermal area. This is one of two geothermal sites you will visit, and the only one with an active, reliable geyser, called Strokkur. Finally, you will head to Gullfoss, the golden waterfall, one of the country's most iconic attractions.
After lunch, your guide will carry on the tour to the South Coast and cruise along the new road to the Krýsuvík geothermal area. This is the road less travelled to the Blue Lagoon to ensure variety in your exploring, and makes for a wonderful stop.
Finally, you'll bathe leisurely in the azure, healing waters of the Blue Lagoon, world-renowned for its healing abilities and skin-restoring silica mud.
Please note that the entrance ticket to the Blue Lagoon is not included. You are adviced to book your voucher well in advance, as it is such a popular site that it is all but impossible to simply show up.
Don't miss the opportunity to see all of Iceland's most popular sites in one action-packed day. Check availability by choosing a date.
Please note that the entrance ticket to the Blue Lagoon is not included. Blue Lagoon requires all travelers to book their entrance ticket in advance, or it will most likely be fully booked and you cannot get in. Please book your Blue Lagoon entrance ticket for 4pm or 5pm. You will have 2 hours in the lagoon before you head back and drop you off at your hotel in Reykjavik city.
