The famous Blue Lagoon is situated on Reykjanes peninsula, an area full of lava and geothermal activity.
Most of the peninsula is covered with a field of really old lava, from eruptions of the early ages. In between the rocks and the moss lie the geothermal mud areas with their strange colours, bubbling and sizzling from the depths of our earth.
At the Blue Lagoon we will have a two hour stop where you can linger in the lagoon and enjoy the surroundings. Our entire tour is approximately 6 hours. Furthermore, during winter time, this is a good area hunting for the Northern Lights when visibility allows (optional addition at an hourly rate).
Please note that the entrance ticket to the Blue Lagoon is not included and please book the ticket in good advance, or it might be fully booked. Please contact our staff or book the entrance ticket online on Blue Lagoon's website.
