There isn’t a greater way to get to know the culture and people of the capital in Iceland than to have a Reykjavik city sightseeing tour!
On this journey, you will get to enjoy some beautiful landmarks and learn about the Icelandic culture. The sightseeing spots include the majestic Hallgrims church, where it is possible to take the elevator to the top of the tower and enjoy the view over the city. We'll then go to Höfði house, built in 1909. This is where presidents Ronald Reagan of the United States and Mikhail Gorbachev of the USSR met in 1986, officially ending the Cold War.
You will also get to breathe in the fresh sea air from the known sculpture the Sun Voyage as we make our way to the glass dome of the Harpa Concert Hall. Next stop after that will be Alþingi, the Icelandic parliament, at Austurvöllur park, followed by a visit to City Hall.
After you have had some time to enjoy the city centre, it is time to visit Perlan. Originally a hot water storage, it is now home to various museums and nature displays. There, you can walk through a manmade ice cave inside one of the tanks, with ice imported from the glaciers in Iceland. There is also an observation deck on top of the now-empty water tanks where you can see over Reykjavik and the surrounding areas.
You can add extra stops along the route to your tour. You will find the options under the reservation stage while booking the trip. We offer all our client’s high standard and professionalism, and we strive to make your journey in Iceland a dream come true.
