Description

Embark on this private tour and explore the scenic South Coast of Iceland, including glaciers, volcanoes, waterfalls, and black sand beaches. If you're eager to see some of the natural landmarks Iceland is famous for, you should book this fantastic excursion now.

At the beginning of your personalized adventure, you'll be picked up at your accommodation in Reykjavik before setting off to explore the spectacular South Coast. You'll be dropped back at the same point when the tour has finished. The trip takes around 10 hours to complete.

You'll see some of Iceland's most spectacular natural sights during the trip. You may even spot a puffin colony if you visit during the summer months. Be sure to get your camera ready, as there will be plenty of fantastic photo opportunities.

First up, you'll head to two of the most spectacular waterfalls in South Iceland. Skogafoss is one of the country's most powerful waterfalls. Seljalandsfoss is a stunning cascade that is relatively narrow but falls from a tall cliff.

There is a path behind Seljalandsfoss waterfall, which means you can walk behind the water in summer. This exciting, unique experience is one that you'll remember for years to come.

Look through the curtain of falling water and see the beautiful surrounding landscapes, including sights like massive lava cliffs and rolling green fields.

Next, you'll make your way to Reynisfjara black sand beach, situated close to the small town of Vik. This beach is known for the many varieties of birds that make their home here and its black volcanic sands.

Out to sea, you'll get a great view of Reynisdrangar, pyramid-shaped sea stacks. According to folklore, these structures are trolls frozen by the sun's light when they were trying to capture a ship from shore.

You'll see the Dyrholaey rock arch from the beach, a puffin nesting site in summer.

With these fantastic sites complete, you'll return along the scenic South Coast to Reykjavik.

On a private tour, it will be just you and your group, which means you'll have the guide's full attention for a special experience. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask any questions you may have along the way about Icelandic culture, history, and nature. Your guide can also tell you stories along the way.

Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity to see the sights of Iceland's magnificent South Coast on a private tour. Check availability now by choosing a date.
