Unforgettable 7 Hour River Rafting Trip of Gullfoss Canyon with Transfer from Reykjavik

Iceland is a scenic location to go river rafting, so join us for this fun and adventurous tour. Just below the mighty Gullfoss waterfall, you can find our rafting canyon, which will impress you with beautiful landscapes. This tour is suitable without prior rafting experience and great fun for all ages. We raft in the river Hvitá, which translates to "white river". The glacial water runs from Langjökull glacier, through Gullfoss waterfalls and then finally to our river base, where we enter the rafts for a 60-90 minute ride down the currents. Our tour will be complete with a visit to Brúarhlöð canyon, where you can experience how the Hvitá river has carved out the breccia walls for centuries. Before and after the rafting we will have a transfer for you to and from Reykjavík.

If you dare, we invite you to take a refreshing leap from the cliffs at Brúarhlöð into the cold waters of the canyon.

After returning to our base, you can relax in our sauna, taker a shower or relax with a drink at the bar. You can also join us for an authentic Icelandic lamb BBQ, which you can add during the booking process. We would also like to invite you to an Icelandic beer tasting from our bar. The shower and sauna are included in the price, but food and drinks are charged as extra.

Please be ready at your selected pick up location in Reykjavík at the time stated on your ticket. The rafting part of the trip is about 4 hours long, the tour itself is about 7 hours long with the transfers from Reykjavík. All equipment necessary for rafting (such as a wetsuit, life-vest and helmet) is included in the tour price. You will, of course, be accompanied by a qualified and experienced rafting guide.

Please bring with you warm undergarments, fleece or wool sweater and pants, warm socks and a change of clothing. Please bring a bathing suit and towel.
