We traveled around the Ring Road using the itinerary you provided as a reference. The itinerary was filled with detailed information, and it seemed impossible to visit all the highlights in just eight days, so we selected some of the most appealing places to visit. What was especially helpful were the location details of each destination and the in-car Wi-Fi, which allowed us to reach every place without getting lost. Thanks to the “Driving Guide” you sent in advance, we were able to understand Iceland’s traffic conditions and travel safely around the Ring Road. About a week before our departure from Japan, we learned that the section between Höfn and Djúpivogur in the southern part of the Ring Road was closed due to flooding. It would have been even better if we could have received updated information about the reopening before our departure.
