Raufarhólshellir lava tube, situated in one of the most active volcanic areas in the world, is a perfect example of an Icelandic lava tube. We will climb, crawl and walk our way through the underground passage, where the main tunnel is 900 m (3000 ft) long.

This uniquely daring adventure will exhibit the Icelandic lava fields from two very different angles, giving you a deep understanding of how Iceland was created and how the primeval forces of nature continue to shape it every day!

After the caving tour, you are driven to downtown Reykjavík before immersing yourselves in the horse riding tour. You will experience the magic of riding an Icelandic horse, surrounded by amazing nature right outside Reykjavík’s city center. Our friendly horses and specially trained guides will take you on a ride on excellent riding paths where you can experience the unique Icelandic horse while enjoying beautiful scenery full of lava fields and green hillsides.
