Description

Have a truly Icelandic experience with a visit to the Blue Lagoon followed up with a Northern Lights hunt in the evening. On this combo tour, you will see and witness two wonders of the world.

The day starts with a hotel pick-up from your accommodation 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. You board your transfer bus to the Blue lagoon and start your journey for one of the wonders of the world, the Blue Lagoon.

The mineral-rich waters offer a unique and first-hand experience of Iceland’s plentiful geothermal springs. On this, our, comfort admission to the lagoon is included. The comfort admission includes a silica mud mask and first drink of choice at the lagoon, perfect way to relax and reflect upon the natural beauty of this island and is a must-see when travelling to Iceland.

After unwinding in the mystical blue water for approx 3-4 hours, you get ready to head back to Reykjavik where you will meet up with your northern lights expert that will guide you through the magical northern lights hunt in the evening.

There will be a short interval after returning to Reykjavik and before the northern lights tour starts. Therefore we highly recommend our customers to have dinner at the blue lagoon before heading out for a night of northern lights searching.

When spotted, the Aurora is both wonderfully mysterious and magical, and once seen never forgotten. Nothing says “Icelandic Winter” like the idea of hunting for the Northern Lights. Our expert operational team has decades of experience analysing weather patterns. We carefully review the cloud forecast, and the Northern Lights forecast daily. We never set off unless we think we have a good chance of spotting them, meaning we have a high success rate.

The northern lights tour is led by a professional, English speaking host and also a smart in-bus audio guide including ten languages for each guest. The tablets provide you with a continuous stream of relevant information along the journey with a GPS synced Audio Guide. Along the tour, our hosts will make your experience comfortable and are happy to answer any questions you might have about our beautiful country. In each seat, you will also find a USB outlet to charge any of your devices. When visiting Iceland in the winter, the northern lights and the blue lagoon is an absolute must, combine these two must-do things in one day and have a story to tell when you arrive back home.

You will then be taken back to your accommodation having taken in the relaxation and wonder of this incredible tour combo.

Don't miss the chance to see two of the most incredible wonders Iceland has to offer. Pick a date to secure your spot.
