Come along on one a tour of the famous South Coast. The destination is to see the beautiful, blue icebergs on the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. Those wanting to create precious memories of their time in Iceland should not miss this tour.

You'll be picked up in Reykjavík early in the morning in a small and cosy minibus. Heading out of the city, you'll drive to the beautiful Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Make sure to bring a raincoat, as if the pathway is clear, you can follow it around the waterfall, even behind the curtain of falling springwater.

From there, you'll drive to Skógafoss waterfall. This one is much wider than its cousin Seljalandsfoss and has a more classic look. The land underneath the cascade is very flat, making it possible to walk right up to the wall of water.

You'll stop at the village of Vík where you can get lunch. Vík lies on the banks of the beautiful black sand beach of Reynisfjara where the massive Reynisdrangar rock stacks rise out of the ocean.

Your journey then continues, and you'll drive through Skaftafell Nature Reserve to the beautiful Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. Once there, you'll have plenty of time to explore the area and watch the massive blue and white icebergs float peacefully on the water.

If you are visiting in the summer, you'll get a close-up view of the icebergs on an included boat ride of the lagoon. But if you are visiting in the winter, you'll get to hunt the Northern Lights on your way back to Reykjavík.

The ride back might be long, but you'll be accompanied by a knowledgeable guide who will tell you about the history of each place, along with fun facts and practical information. You'll be glad to know that the minibus has free wifi on board, so even with the long drive, you won’t be bored!

You'll make a stop along the way to grab dinner before you arrive back in Reykjavík late in the evening.
