Come and join our three-day tour, combining all our favourite sites into a sightseeing adventure extraordinaire. You will see the South Coast of Iceland, the Golden Circle, Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon and even an ice cave, thus giving you the chance to visit all famous sites in only three days. This tour is offered all year round and will allow you to explore all that Iceland has to offer in the comfort of a small group in a minibus with our highly competent and friendly driver-guides.
Take the unique chance to see Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, Geysirs, the Diamond Beach and stunning landscapes all combined in one tour. We invite you to take the journey of a lifetime with us, Iceland is stunning in winter and summer alike. During the summer we will enjoy the long daylight hours on our drive and exploration through the country while in wintertime snowy roads and, with a little luck, Northern Lights awaits us. We will always visit an ice cave during this tour. During wintertime (October through March) our main ice cave is the Crystal Ice Cave in Vatnajökull glacier, during the rest of the year we will preferably go into the Ice Cave under the Volcano. If neither is available we will reroute you to a Glacier hike.
In winter we might need to shorten some stops or change the itinerary due to the weather conditions. Please be aware that your safety is always our main priority when accessing road conditions and access to certain ice caves. If you are a solo traveller you can choose to pay a single supplement. If you opt-out of the single supplement you will be paired in a Twin room with another traveller of the same gender. The ice caves visited during this tour will depend on the season and availability. If ice caves are difficult to access we will reroute to a glacier hike.

Þingvellir national park is an area very dear to our hearts, as it combines geological wonders and historical importance. In Þingvellir national park the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet, and you can experience the edges. Þingvellir will show you the extremes of the stunning Icelandic nature, both harsh lava edges and soft streams, lakes and vegetation. The first-ever democratically elected parliament, Alþingi, was founded in Þingvellir in 930 CE.
Our Golden Circle will also visit the magnificent area around Geysir, Haukadalur valley. You will be able to see Geysir´s little brother, Strokkur, spout every 7 minutes or so. The fountains can reach 10 to 20 meters and are an unforgettable spectacle. You can find all kinds of other hot springs in the area too, as well as an excellent visitor centre.
Finally, we will stop at Gullfoss waterfall, the Golden falls, one of the most visited waterfalls in Iceland. Truly an exceptional sight, the golden falls have been a visitor favourite for centuries with powerful masses of water thundering down a two-tired waterfall into a cool canyon.
Following the Golden Circle, we will continue along the South Coast to our hotel for the night, located close to Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Our hotel will be a fantastic base to try and catch a view of the elusive Northern Lights if conditions allow. Cross your fingers, since a pinch of luck is always necessary to catch the Auroras.
Up next, we will visit the Skaftafell national park to join our next adventure, an exciting glacier walk and ice cave exploration. You will be led by our charismatic, highly qualified and experienced glacier guides on the adventure of a lifetime. Step foot on a glacier tongue for an easy glacier walk crowned by an exploration of a natural ice cave. The natural ice caves in Skaftafell are incredibly delicate phenomena, only accessible during the cold winter months between October and March. During other months we will visit a different natural ice cave accessible by Superjeep. The time of your travels will determine which ice cave to visit and whether a glacier hike is included to arrive there or not.
The exploration is suitable for everybody comfortably walking for 2 hours on uneven terrain.
In order to feel comfortable during the tour, please dress warmly in waterproof outer clothing and sturdy hiking boots.
Your accommodation for the night will be at Adventure Hotel Geirland again, and perhaps we can catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights outside the hotel at night.
We will have a chance to admire the iconic Eldhraun lava field close to Kirkubæjarklaustur, where you can see endless fields of rough lava stones covered in lush green moss.
Next up we will visit Reynisfjara black sand beach, that even inspired a scene in Frozen 2 due to its majestic waves crashing onto the black sands of the area. The waves can be quite tricky, so be cautious while admiring the beauty.
Just off-shore the Black Sand Beach you will find the Reynisdrangar rock columns rising out of the ocean. Legend has it, these were trolls who turned to stone after being surprised by the sunrise.
Your next exploring stop will be Skógafoss waterfall, dropping an amazing 60 meters. Walk to the top of the waterfall over steep stairs to get a magnificent birds-eye view over the surrounding areas. The famous volcano Eyjafjallajökull is right in this area too, so during a clear day, you will get a good view of that awe-inspiring volcano and glacier.
Getting back on the road to travel towards Seljalandsfoss, you will on a clear day get a good view of Mt. Hekla. Seljalandsfoss is famous for allowing you to walk behind it - what a unique experience!
Your 3 Day tour is coming to an end when you arrive in Reykjavík between 16:00 and 19:00, depending on the conditions.
