Amazing!
Review of Scenic 4-Day Northern Lights Tour of Vatnajokull Ice Cave, Jokulsarlon & the South Coast

Memory of a lifetime! I’m so glad we used Guide to Iceland as they took care of every detail. Communication was excellent- I received our itinerary within a couple days of booking. I emailed a question shortly before our trip and got an answer right away. Also, we wanted to change a pickup location on our last day and I was able to get that changed through a quick email request. A new transportation voucher was sent for me to use with no problem at all. Upon arrival we went directly to The blue Lagoon and it was the perfect way for us to relax after the long international flight. The comfort ticket was the right choice as it gave us the spa-like experience we were looking for and we didn’t need the little extras that came with the premium ticket. Flip flops and bathing suit is all we needed (towels are provided) to take a break and have coffee and watch the sunrise! From there we stayed at the Bolholt Apartments. Nothing fancy but was clean and had enough space. We weren’t there much as we were out adventuring most of the time! We walked downtown to dinner 2 nights -about a 30min walk but we didn’t mind. The individual tour guides that took us on the various excursions were all fantastic! They made sure we had a good time and got to see the wonders of Iceland! The fantastical display of the Northern Lights illuminated Gods magnificence and was a highlight for us! Then the next 2 days we walked amongst massive waterfalls, toured an ice cave, and stayed at a country inn. I can’t put it all into words. I wore my ski jacket , snow pants, and waterproof hiking boots most of the time and so glad I did! We ended our tour sight seeing/shopping in Reykjavik and added an extra night at the Edition hotel where we enjoyed their luxurious amenities and top notch service. So glad we did this trip!
