The Golden Circle, South Coast & Northern Lights | 2-Day Tour
The Northern Lights are a stunning phenomenon that can only be seen in far north countries like Iceland.
Strokkur, a geysir in Iceland, erupts on a winter day.
The stunning Seljalandsfoss is one of Iceland's more unique falls.
The South Coast has many geological marvels.
An tree in Iceland forms a backdrop to the stunning aurora borealis.
Get to close to Skogafoss waterfall in South Iceland and you will get wet!

Tick three of Iceland’s most essential and exhilarating experiences off of your bucket list with two action packed days exploring the Golden Circle, South Coast and hunting for the Northern Lights. This tour should not be missed by those seeking to make the very most of every minute they have in Iceland.

You’ll start bright and early on day one when you are picked up from Reyjavík in a bus with a wealth of modern amenities; there is free wifi, a range of materials to improve your aurora watching experience, and audio guides available in ten languages. Once your group is gathered, you’ll set out on a winter adventure you will never forget.

You’ll first explore the three magnificent sites of the Golden Circle; Þingvellir National Park, the Geysir Geothermal Area and Gullfoss Waterfall. Each of these locations is surrounded by spectacular nature, has a fascinating history, and a wealth of things to see as you wander around in awe.

As soon as the sun sinks beneath the horizon, the Northern Lights hunting component of the tour will begin. Your guide is an expert at seeking out the auroras, knowing all the darkest, quietest spots and best methods for catching them on camera. There is no experience as breathtaking as watching a kaleidoscope of vivid colours dance across Iceland’s winter skies.

After a hopefully very rewarding viewing, you’ll be whisked back to the capital city. The adventure is far from over, however; in the morning you’ll be picked up once again to traverse across the magnificent South Coast. The sites here are as diverse as they are numerous; you’ll get to see waterfalls, glaciers, volcanoes, black sand beaches and historic villages.

Don’t miss two action packed days exploring the beautiful reaches of Iceland and marvelling over the aurora borealis. Check availability by choosing a date.
