You will meet your tour provider by the harbour in Vogar, and from there you will sail out into the darkness and look for the Northern Lights. The Northern Lights appear best under dark, clear skies. These conditions exist from September to the end of April. This boat tour is an exciting and unique experience to watch to aurora dancing against the night sky. When you have sailed out into the darkness and found the Northern Lights, the captain will turn off the engine and thus you will enjoy the lights and the tranquillity. It's good for you to be warmly and well dressed. For example, a warm coat, gloves and good steady shoes are essential.
Of course, the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed. However, for a high possibility to see the northern lights, three things are required: solar activity, clear sky and darkness.
