Magical 3-Hour Midnight Sun Horseback Riding Tour in East Iceland

Experience the bright Icelandic nights in the east Icelandic highlands, in touch with nature, from a horseback. Riding the Icelandic horse on a sunny night is an experience to remember.

This midnight ride is headed for the abandoned farm Kleif. Once we are there, we will take the time to bask in the beautiful surroundings and to take a look inside the old farmhouse. While there, we will hear stories of the people who used to live at the farm. 

The tour begins at the Wilderness Center, a peaceful hideaway at the edge of the Highlands. There you will meet your guide for the day and get introduced to the horse you will be riding for the next hours. 

Even if you've never ridden before you have nothing to worry about—all of the guides are passionate and qualified. Icelandic horses are famous for their reliability and docile nature. Horses are chosen out specifically for each rider, and we will provide you with all of the riding gear necessary for your trip. 

Near the farm, there is a traditional cableway-cart. Those who have an adventurous spirit can try their hand at winching themselves across the glacier river Jökulsá. With the river streaming below, it is sure to give you a thrill.
