We had a wonderful tour on a snowmobile with two wonderful guides who gave us a lot of information about the glacier we visitid and glaciers in general. Our kids aged 10 and 12 loved it! We had one stop where we got more information and where we could take pictures. An extra photo stop moment would have been even nicer. We had an excellent tour!

Perfect snowmobile tour

This tour was definitely one of the highlights of our 6-day visit. We went on the 10 am trip on 8 January and arrived to a friendly welcome from the staff. They were very flexible and allowed a late addition to our group. We were fitted with weather appropriate gear, which kept us all nice and toasty in the January weather. The tour guide gave us excellent instruction and despite being very scared of tipping over, I was able to use this brief lesson to keep us upright on the trail. The guide gave us just the right amount of information while still allowing plenty of quiet time to take pictures and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Although we had been ice caving on a nearby glacier the day before, the snowmobile trip allowed us to take in several glaciers and an amazing panoramic with only a handful of other people with us. I highly recommend the tour!

Tour was really nice!. They give you all needed as coverall, helmet, gloves. The time in the glacier is around 1 hour, but the views are amazing. Wish to stay there longer. The guide was very friendly and helpful. Really recomment this trip.

The trip was fantastic! My wife and I had not snowmobiled before and it was the highlight of our holiday in Iceland. I drove to the top of the glacier, where the weather was amazing and it felt like we were on top of the world, and my wife took the second leg on the way down. Driving the snowmobiles was very easy and the guides were good fun and very informative. Well worth the money and a day to remember.

This was an amazing tour! The super jeep ride up to the meeting spot was great, but riding through the mountains was incredible. I shared a snowmobile with by boyfriend and we ended up tipping over twice, but the guides helped us get going again and made it an enjoyable experience. We couldn't make it to the top of the glacier because of the weather, but the spot we stopped at was still pretty great. Our guide even made a diagram in the snow explaining the glacier and all the locations around it.

The weather was and had been pretty bad on the day of our tour, so we had to be more careful on the snowmobiles and we didn't much of a "view" because of how foggy and cloudy it was, but we still really enjoyed ourselves, it was our first time on a snowmobile. Our tour guide Chaz was awesome and we really enjoyed chatting with him, and he gave us the best recommendation for where to get lunch afterwards!

I have been on several snowmobile tours in Iceland and I have to say this was my favorite one. The view you get on top of the glacier overlooking the south coast is unreal. Our Guide Thor and Andre were superb as well!
